Recent Photo's Of The Kids-June 2010
These were taken in June. The boys were playing in a box and having a great time! Amazing how long a box can occupy children!
Even Logan had a great time with the box...
Can you tell Isaac is having fun? :O)
Isaac has been enjoying his bike (which used to be his big brother's years ago!) even though he cannot ride it just yet...
He has a GREAT time pushing it all over the house and even loves to push Logan when he is sitting on it! He is one strong little guy!
Logan got to meet our friends dog when we went to visit...both Logan and Isaac really loved playing with this puppy, Chance. And I think the feeling was mutual!
Logan is having a great summer so far as any 7 year old would! He loves playing with his nerf guns....we have weekly nerf gun "battles" around the house...Isaac loves to watch us and he even plays the middle man and runs and gets us all the nerf bullets...it's really amusing to watch. :O)
During Logan's last week of school, they had a "Fun Day" and did all sorts of neat activities. He came home as a pirate that day :O)
We are so very proud of our Logan! He did such a great job this year handling the move and all that comes with that kind of transition. He did so well with it, as he usually seems to do when it comes to change...and he worked very very hard the last few months at his new school. He makes friends very easily and most chlidren (and teachers) like him very much! At his old school and his new one, we recieved many compliments from his teachers of how great of a young man he is, how respectful he is, he is very nice , makes friends easily and is a joy to have in class. This is such a blessing to us! He settled in at the new school quickly and made a "best friend" the first day! This friend happens to live in our neighborhood and so they rode the same bus every day and play together often! His name is Shane and I have a feeling he will be sticking around for a while :O) We just thank God so much for giving Logan the kind of strong spirit he has, to be able to go through a change like moving to a new town, saying goodbye to friends, and starting all over at a new school right at the end of a year...he did so well with it all. Logan teaches us so much and has such a joy in him that reminds me often to sit back and just enjoy this life God has given to us! And we are so very grateful for the gifts our children are to us! Logan could have handled that whole entire move very differently. But he handled it just the way we knew he would. With such peace and patience and happiness. He didn't see the big hurdle in front of him..rather he looked ahead and saw the opportunity. And he tackled it with a strength that some adults do not even have. I am amazed and thankful . He is now a third grader!!! We recieved another surprise when he came home his last day..he got an award for having such a positive attitude and outlook at school and for being a great student who follows directions and shows respect! WOW!!!! :O)
We go to the park near our house often and Logan loves to play basketball there! He is pretty good at it a actually. He likes to play with Daddy when he comes along and loves to be chased all arond the playground by Daddy who is probably being some sort of Monster at that time...hehe. Isaac loves to watch all of this too. We try to take walks as often as we can.
The above photo was taken at the playground the first week we were living at our new home. Isaac does not like to sit and watch in the stroller anymore...he has to get out and run around too! :O)
Ok, we cannot post an update without including Tiger! So here are some not so new , and then newer pictures of Tiger. We don't want him to feel left out ;O) The first one is when he used to sit in front of Isaac's swing...we would say he was Isaac's protector..or guard.
The next is from this past Christmas....such a handsome Cat.
The next was taken a few weeks ago..when I walked into our bedroom this is what I saw on our bed...we got a good laugh out of it...
Finally , the last two are the most recent..taken about a week or two ago. Tiger watching a nerf gun fight and sitting in our window looking out. Wishing he could go chase all the birds flying around. A friend took that photo from outside...
We will be posting more recent pictures when we return from our Virginia vacation next week!
Love,
Megs, Matt, Logan and Isaac
