~Wet & Wild Weekend~

This weekend, Logan's best friends from our previous town in Dillsburg, came out to spend 4 fun filled and action packed days with us! It was so much fun to have Jedaiah and Caleb (brothers) here for an unforgettable weekend! :-) I made sure to take PLENTY of photo's since they don't get to see eachother much.. I wanted to catch a very special time with his best buddies. Enjoy!

*Logan started off his fun weekend mowing the lawn for the neighbors who went away to the beach. They asked him to water their flowers and mow the lawn and they would pay him! He said " I actually like mowing the lawn!" :-)

*The first day we picked up the boys and headed to church that evening. The second day was spent swimming ....

*And playing at the nearby park!

Isaac joined in on the fun too of course!

*Jedaiah was Isaac's special buddy for the weekend and a big helper too!

*He was so brave going down the BIG slide and did so repeatedly!

The 3rd day was spent with more time in the pool and then some more park time!

*Then it was on to movie night!

 

The last day was spent playing Wii games in the morning, in the pool again in the afternoon  and some hose sprinkler fun!

 *They also did a good bit of bike riding and basketball playing at the park...

One last best friend picture before they left for home.

It was a busy but awesome visit! We love these boys very much. They are like family to us. A little back story of how Logan became friends with them. Shanda , their mom, and I became friends while in Massage School and we went to the same church. She decided to rent the lower half of our old house at Water Road in Dillsburg and they moved in while we still lived there in the top half of the house. Shanda , Matt and I became very good friends and the boys had an instant connection! They all went to school together (Logan and Caleb being in the same grade and Jedaiah a few years older) . I watched them and their little baby brother Eli for Shanda while she worked and went to school. It was inevitable that we were all going to become very close. When we moved, it was an emotional and hard time for us all. We have had the boys come out to stay a few times now and it is always so wonderful to spend time with them! Jed is as tall as me now. That didn't take long! We will miss them and look forward to the next time we can visit. If you read this, we love you boys! Thanks for hanging out with us. And thanks Shanda for giving them away for 4 days!

Summer is busy and fun already , and it's not even July yet! :-)

~Hands On House~

A few weeks ago we took the kids to Hands On House -a kids hands on museum near us. It was a BLAST! They both loved it and we did too! Enjoy :-)

 *Started off in the "maintenance" department cleaning parts :-)

 *Then they worked together to build just the right track for the balls to go down smoothly on....

 *Isaac had fun with that too!

 *Next, they build cars and raced them....

 *Isaac did a few fun things of his own...

 *From building blocks...to zapping germs...

 *Playing with a farm...

 *And they even had a WINDMILL, just for him! ;-)

 *Daddy and Logan were VERY busy making things together with these connector blocks...

 * Then Logan and Isaac went shopping...

 *Worn at the end of a long and fun day :)

GREAT day! We can't wait to do it again :-)
